Terms of service

These terms govern your use of bandana.studio and any look you buy from it. By using the site or buying a look you agree to them. Bandana is operated by BAND ("Bandana", "we").

What you are buying

A look is a downloadable design kit: an instruction file, theme tokens, fonts, sections, components, motion presets, assets and a demo. Each look is sold in a limited edition of fifty. When the fiftieth edition sells, the look is retired and no longer sold. Your edition number and licence key are shown in your account.

Licence

Buying a look grants you the licence described on the Look licence page. In short: unlimited use in projects you own or build for clients; no reselling, sublicensing or redistributing the look or its files; the original typeface is licensed to you, not sold to you.

Payment

Prices are in US dollars. Payment is taken by Stripe at checkout. Bundles of three or five looks are priced as shown at the time of purchase. We may change prices at any time; a change never affects a look you already own.

Refunds

Fourteen days, no questions. See Refunds.

Updates

Updates to a look you own are free for as long as we publish them. We may retire a look from sale at any time; retirement never removes it from your account.

Accounts

You sign in with a link sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to that inbox. Licence keys are personal; sharing one may result in it being revoked.

Acceptable use

Do not use a look to build anything unlawful, or anything that infringes someone else's rights. Do not attempt to access looks you have not bought.

Liability

Looks are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from their use. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the look concerned.
